Visit Hahndorf’s tree-lined main street, where you will experience the charm of this quaint, historic hills village. Hahndorf is Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement and proud of its heritage which is still visible in the traditional streetscapes and German pubs and cafés.

Spend an afternoon (or a day) visiting the iconic German Arms Hotel or Hahndorf Inn, taste delicious cheeses at Udder Delights and rummage through souvenir stores to find special treasures. Hahndorf is also home to a number of old-fashioned lolly shops, wineries, as well as arts and craft galleries.
